Hundreds of mods have already been updated to support 1.18 and we expect there will be many new and updated mods being released soon. Players should use Fabric Installer 0.9.0 and Fabric Loader 0.12.5 (at the time of writing) to play on Minecraft 1.18. This blog post will go over what the 1.18 update means for both players and developers. Since then, we have updated to all 7 experimental snapshots, 8 snapshots, 8 pre-releases, 4 release candidates, and the final release version of Minecraft 1.18. The release of Fabric for Minecraft 1.17 was almost 6 months ago. Minecraft 1.18: Caves & Cliffs, Part 2 is now released, and along with it, updates for Fabric itself and many mods already.
